Green Canyon · Kumköy & Çolaklı
Two ends of the same beach strip: 27 km from Kumköy, 32 km from Çolaklı, roughly forty-five and fifty minutes. Five kilometres apart, one departure, one page.
The drive turns inland almost immediately and stops being a coast road. You leave the hotel belt behind, follow the Manavgat river upstream and finish at the Oymapınar dam — a concrete arch about 185 m high, built between 1977 and 1984, with its turbines buried in an underground powerhouse. The lake held behind it is the canyon you came for.
| Pickup area | By road | Drive time |
|---|---|---|
| Kumköy | 27 km | approx. 45 min |
| Çolaklı | 32 km | approx. 50 min |
Road distances and drive times are approximate, measured with no traffic and no hotel-collection loop — the ride on the day takes longer.
Whichever end of the strip you are on, part of the drive is spent collecting other guests along it. That is the honest cost of a shared transfer, and it is why the exact time is confirmed the day before instead of guessed at the moment you book.
The five-kilometre gap between the two resorts is worth about five minutes, which is why one page carries both rather than two near-identical ones. Neither end pays a real penalty: both sit in the short bracket, close enough that the canyon is an easy day out rather than an expedition.
If a search sent you here looking for Çolaklı on its own, this is still the right page. The measured rows for both resorts are in the table above, next to each other, with nothing rounded to make one look closer than it is.

Slightly: 32 km against 27 km, about fifty minutes against forty-five, free-flow. On the day, the collection order matters more than those five kilometres.
No. It turns inland early and climbs along the Manavgat river to the Oymapınar dam, so most of what passes the window is pine forest rather than hotels.
