Getting to the canyon from Manavgat
This is home water. The lake is the river held behind a dam, the falls three kilometres west of town are the same river on its way out to sea, and the town takes its name from it. Ninety-three kilometres of river, a waterfall that is wide rather than tall at about five metres, and giant karst springs underneath feeding the whole system all year.

How pickup really works
A short transfer does not mean a private one. The coach still works a route, so the collection time is confirmed the day before — but the tail of that route is shorter here than anywhere else on the list, which is the one genuine luxury of staying this close.
The honest trade-off from Manavgat
Thirty-five minutes is free-flow routing time with no traffic and no hotel loop, so the day still takes a day. What you avoid is the long coastal haul: less road, more lake, and the option of an unhurried start instead of an early one.
